I had Geek Squid install new hard drive and now I can’t find my software to reinstall My Book HD. It is a WDBAAFOO15BK-00. Downloaded what I thought was right software off WD site but doesn’t seem to work?? I plug in HD and nothing comes up don’t see it appear and it doesn’t ask for password.
Is there a site where I can do a simple download and then just select install like on the CD?
Thank you and I am sorry if this is a redundant post or if I am just slow on the uptake.

Check if the hard drive is recognized on the disk management window. Even is you don’t have any software installed on your computer the option to unlock the my book should appear.
