I tried to download and update the firmware for My Book Live but everytime it gets disconnected and I am asked to try again later with Error 31103 popping up all the time. Even when the download reaches 100%, it says ‘failure’. Is there a problem with the device or the server from WD?
Finally, I manage to complete the download after 15 tries and it is upgrading the firmware now. This is only 1 of ‘My Book Live’ which I want to update. Please let me know still if it is the server’s issue and are there any other options besides this to update the firmware?
not sure about any server issues but you can call WD direct for that
Next time try the manual update
