I am looking for a copy of the My Book Live driver. I’ve done a system backup to the NAS and I need the driver to restore because Windows does not include it in its driver package. I’ve looked at the software for the device and there’s no mention of a driver Please help.
There are no drivers required for the MBL. Drivers do exist, but they don’t affect the operation of the drive, only provide a pretty icon and a web link when you look at the device properties.
To do a RESTORE, you need the BACKUP software (WD SmartWare) which is downloadable from WD website.
