My WD 3TB “My Book Live” seems to be running slow when displaying details of file tracks and details within a music cd file directory. Can the WD drive be defragmented?
It may be possible by means of dedicated applications but it should’nt be necessary on devices using the EXT3 file system. I’d recommend running a drive health/diagnostic test in the Dashboard under Settings> Utilities> Diagnostics.
