My Book Live Dashboard - constantly tries to install Java to work and fails to work afterwards

I’ve put in a request to WD on this problem and had no response.

I have tried this from two different computers, a PC running WIn 7 and a laptop running Vista.

Click on view my files and you get a dialogue box saying you need the latest version of Java would you like to install.

I know I have it already but allow it to download.  Finish doing that and the problem repeats itself.

WOnder if anyone has experience this and has a fix ?  Keith

If you have it installed, do you have it enabled in your browser?

also, go into your programs in contorl panel and unistall old java installations.  anything java 5, java 6.  The new one doesn’t always uninstall the old one.
