My Book Live and Cloud backup

Hello all,

I currently use my My Book Live as the single source of data for all three computers in the house, so I can stream to all computers, tv, etc…  I now want to back up the data on the My Book Live.  Besides getting another external hard drive and storing it somewhere else, will a cloud system work considering the My Book Live is not connected to the computer via USB port ?  I know for example, Backblaze will only backup external hard drives that are connected to the computer it is backing up…  Thanks so much for any advice!

additional comment- I know I could drag the important files from the My Book Live to a computer so Backblaze (for example) could then back it up- but the important files are large and I need the speed and efficiency on the computer at home.  Thanks again!
