HI, despite several attemtps My Book Live is not discoveable with SmartWare software ie Back up & retrieve tabs are greyed out. Have tried trouble shooting suggestions ie turnoff firewall & anit-virus, loaded latest
Smartware (v 1.6), update Drive firmware (02.11.09-053 : Core F/W) but no joy.
The drive is visible in My networkplaces and dashboard visible in Chrome. Have created private user on disk mapped private & public drives to My computer - but discovery of Drive in Smartware is not happening. Have tried using botrh CD and software on drive.
Any suggestion greatly appreciated.
