I have a WD 8Tb My Book and recently I have noticed the light flashes occasionally at random intervals when the power supply for it is turned off.
It must be something to do with USB as it seems to stop when I unplug that but the drive is about 3 years old and sits on a shelf almost directly in my line of sight and I have never noticed it doing this before and nothing has changed on PC hardware or software apart from win 11 updates.
Would anyone have some idea what is going on?
