My Book Essential Not Working

Hi,

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my external harddrive, It does get picked up my my PC’s and installs it. But it will not show up at all on any of my PC’s, They are running on windows 7 & XP 32bit.

Look in Disk Management and see if it is shown there and make sure it has a drive letter and is online. Is this a new drive or was it working before?

Hi Joe_s, I have the same problem (W7x64), the drive was working before, I test it in 2 different PC’s (WXP & W7x32) with the same result, The disk is not recognized by Windows. Do you have a solution?? Thanks
