my HD was working fine until a few days ago, and now whenever i try to plug it into my laptop, there are little clicking sounds and its not recognised in My Computer, but it’s recognised in Devices and Printers. The Light lights up as per normal. My HD was knocked over a few times but it seemed to work fine but now its not. I tried to initialize it in Disk Management, but it couldnt due to I/O error. Can someone please tell me what’s going on with my HD??

I/O Error is normally imput output error and is related to a bad USB cable or a bad connector on the drive… Are you able to test the unit on a different computer or with a different cable… make sure to test with a desktop unit with the back USB ports.
