I have two My Book Essential 3TB . When I installed both of them everything was OK. I could open any files such as video, image and text quickly without any problem. But now it takes a long time to open any files. It’s frustrating. I appreciate if anyone can help me to solve this problem.
Make sure that the drives power adapter is directly connected to a wall outlet, then try diff ports or cable. I believe this would be a cable issue. Thanx a lot for help. Drives power adapters as you said were not directly connected. I connected them directly and now everything works perfectly fast and smooth in both drives. Thanx again & god bless you
