Is 4tb My Book an advanced format drive? I am trying use windows server backup which requires 512e to write vhd files.

Has anyone used windows server backup with this drive?

fsutil fsinfo ntsfinfo says:

bytes per sector:                     4096

bytes per physical sector:       4096

bytes per cluster:                    4096

bytes per filerecord segment: 4096

This drive was purchased from big box retail store 7-2014

This has been resolved.

I updated the firmware and downloaded WD Quick Format tool.

After format with the WD Quick Format:

bytes per sector:                     512

bytes per physical sector:      

bytes per cluster:                    4096

bytes per filerecord segment: 1024
