I recently bought a My Book 3.0 External Hard Drive with 1TB. I got it so I could transfer pictures from my 3 computers onto it. I have 2 laptops and a desktop. I’m trying to figure out how to get it set up to my laptops. The directions are not great and they show a desktop. I bought this cause I was told it was easy to set up and use since it had a USB cord to just hook up to my computer and transfer photos onto the drive. But it seems very difficult to me.
Can I even use this thing with laptops? And how do I go about? Where do I find the PCIe slot on a laptop motherboard?
