My MyBook which I used with my old laptop (with Windows Vista) does not work with my new laptop (Windows 7). I have plugged it in, but it does not seem to be recognized by the new computer. In Windows Explorer, when I click on what seems to be this external hard drive, it only causes Windows Explorer to crash. What to do (for a non-IT savvy person like me)?
Hello and welcome, have you tried using another USB port on the same PC? Also open the disk management window and see if you can change the drive letter. Check the link below for the steps.
