Movies: thumb/cover display issue

I have my movies in folders and have the following issue:

Viewing in Videios >My Media Library > movies 

I’m scraping the thumbs and background fan art but on some movies I’ll get the fan art but no thumbnail (even though it’s shown in the info). Any way of resolving this?

There’s no way of adding a Movies menu item from the home screen so you can have Movies and Videos (home videos etc.) separate?

If the scrapper doesn’t get the covers, you can just add them yourself.

Just find your cover, copy it to your folder and name it “moviename.metathumb”.

No, you can’t add items to the main menu.  The only thing you can do is to Filter by folder, create folder “Movies, TV Shows, Videos, etc.” then add those to your media library.
