Movie Sheets on WD TV Play

Hello everybody.

I’d like to know if the WD TV Play can download movies information (from online database) just like the “big brother” WD TV Live (“get content info” option) and also if there is a way to have “movie sheets” view or similar, instead of the simple folder view (for USB or DLNA media content, obviously movies and music).

Nope…

Yeah it can’t, But since it requires DLNA server to work, you can use something like Plex and the WD TV Play will show the cover art that Plex downloads.

Well, I suppose I’ll have to wait and buy the “old” WD TV Live.
