Mounting MyCloud drive remotely on Mac

How do I mount my MyCloud Mirror on my Mac as a network filesystem location. When I am on the LAN, this works, but when I am remotely connected, it seems the only options I have are apps or the MyCloud.com website.

The issue is I am trying to use MyCloud to backup original images from Adobe Lightroom, which lets me specify a filesystem location to make copies during import, and I can only use this feature when I am back home on the LAN.

Is there such a thing as a URL to my MyCloud server? If so, I would assume that a simple “server address” together with Cmd-K (connect to server) would do this.

The only way to connect to it is either through mycloud.com or desktop app. You can also VPN into your network and access your files through there, but speed will depend on VPN and network the mirror is on
