Mount a secondary USB drive to expand storage

Can you use the USB port of a MyCloud Home to attach a second drive and expand storage? I have this configuration on a MyCloud, but curious if the Home version does the same.

Have you visited the Learning Center and read the User Manual?

Yes… it doesn’t say “yes”, but it doesn’t say “no”, it’s very vague…

If you look at the User Manuals for each device

The WD My Cloud Home user manual states this feature about the USB port …

USB port to import photos and videos from all your devices — Quickly import photos
and videos from all the different devices scattered around your house, like USB flash
drives and external hard drives, using the USB port on the back of the My Cloud™
Home.

The WD My Cloud user manual states this feature about the USB port …

Expandable storage with the USB expansion port – Easily expand your storage
capacity with the USB 3.0 expansion port. Simply plug-in your USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 external hard drive to instantly add more storage for all your photos, videos, music, and documents.

So the answer is pretty clear to me the My Cloud Home doesn’t support expanded storage via the USB port like the My Cloud does.
