Why can’t WDTV support mkv chapters?

I have a similar problem. I have used Imgburn to rip the DVD and then used make mkv to convert. When I play the Image burn rip chapters appear and I can skip to different songs in the music dvd. On the mkv file however there are no different chapters for the songs and as a result  I cannot move around the dvd. Would appreciate any help on this.

MKV Chapters are supported. 

When playing, bring up the OPTIONS bar, select CHAPTERS … and pick the chapter you want.

Thanks. Works. Only problem is I get Chapters without names. Where as in the image burn rip it is with the names.
