Missing files

Hello,

i would like to ask for some help… I have a WD passport 80g.

I have saved inside files (photos) at about 32g.

My problem is that when i go to its properties it shows that the disc is 32g occupied out of 80g but when i get in the disc i find files 6g only. Where is the rest 26g? How can i  retrieve them?
