.mediacrawler shows up when access via NFS from media server

I’ve asked WD to look at having option for NFS on/off and they are looking into it.  When I access either of my WD Liv’es via NFS I see a folder .mediacrawler.   I don’t have twonky nor itunes server, media or audio, etc., files being “served”.  My media player takes care of finding thsoe files and playing them.

How do I get rid of .mediacrawler?

Maybe it has something to do with the drive being UPnP?

Thanks.  I’m thinking it has something to do with the way the linux os is setting up its mediaserver.
