Mastering the Mac Mail App: launching Features, Troubleshooting Problems, and Implementing Effective Solutions

1. Launch the stock mail application on your Macbook from the dock.
2. Ensure that the Mail is in the active window.
3. Now click on the “Mail” from the menu bar
4. This will bring up a drop-down menu with more options.
5. Now click on Preferences from the drop-down menu available
6. This will open a new window on your mac book screen
7. You will now be taken to the General settings for the Mail application
8. Click on the “Junk Mail” from the top menu
9. Now switch to the “Blocked” section
10. Click on the “+” icon located below the blank area
11. This will bring up the contacts stored on your Mac device.
12. Click on the contact that you want to block.
13. This will bring up the contacts stored on your Mac device.
14. Click on the contact that you want to block
15. And the email address that is linked to your contact will be added to the block list.
16. To unblock any of the email addresses later on you need to select the contact from your block list.
