Mapping Issue on Mac

I have an EX2Ultra connected to my network and when I map a drive location on my Mac the first location is fine whether it is mapped to my private or public area, but when I map the second location (public or private) the private area becomes inaccessible. it says that I no longer have permission to access the location. Does anyone have any suggestions? My Mac OS is Big Sur.
