Map drive to WDCLOUD

My Cloud OS 5 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud

Hi there,

I need to be able to access WDCLOUD (located in the office) from home.
I have mapped a network drive that works fine when in the office (same LAN) but not from home.
Is there a particular path or UNC that would be recognised from anywhere or is this not possible at all?

Have you looked at the Dashboard and setup Cloud Access?

Have you tried mycloud.com?

Just to clarify, you have a MyCloud Gen 2 device running OS5?

You office security settings may prevent you for accessing it remotely. If not, you access the drive from your computers browser at https://os5.mycloud.com/

And, of course, you must have set up an OS5 account first.
