I upgraded my laptop to a new WD 500GB M.2SSD from a 512GB M.2 SSD. I used the Acronix True Image 2018 for the clone. All works good. My problem is that disk manager will not erase the partitions on the 512 GB ssd. It will only erase two of them. I am making this drive an external usb drive and would like it to only have one partition. Any ideas?
Get a copy of Mini Tool’s Partition Wizard and do what you want to do to it.

Or, try the built-in “diskpart” command-line utility.
Type “help clean” to learn how to delete everything from a disk-drive.
Of course, be sure to “select” the SSD, not your “C:” drive!
