How many people that have problems to see the wd hd sharing windows7 decobri the problem on my network.
It happened in two wd hd
I have here:
Quantity: 2 PC = windows7 64bit
Quantity: 1 PC = Win XP Pro SP3
Quantity: 1 WD HD LIVE
Quantity: 1 WD HD HUB
Failure happens: When there is a Win XP Pro as (master browser) it does not list more than the machines that are running with win7.
Solution to back up and running:
Place the master browser windows 7 network, alert of registry keys.
Here’s the trick:
Open regedit and navigate to the path below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ Browser \ Parameters
Create a new key type Reg_SZ IsDomainMaster with name and value: True
There should be a key called MantainServerList, you should put this value to Yes
Ready! Now you always know who is your Master Browser
Command to see who is the master browser:
net view
server Description
\ \ ALESSANDRO
\ \ WDTV BARTWD LIVE
\ \ CRISTIANO
\ \ STORAGE
The command completed successfully.
The next command shows whether he is the master
C: \ Users \ Bart> nbtstat-a cristiano

Como muita gente esta com problemas para fazer o wd hd ver os compartilhamento do windows7 decobri o problema na minha rede.
Ele acontecia nos dois wd hd.
Tenho aqui:
Quantidade :PC=2 windows7 64bits
Quantidade :PC=1 win XP pro SP3
Quantidade :1 WD HD LIVE
Quantidade :1 WD HD HUB
Falha acontece: Quando existe um Win XP Pro como ( master Browser ) ele não lista mais as maquinas que estão rodando com win7.
Solução para voltar a funcionar:
Colocar o windows 7 como master Browser da rede, atravez das chaves de registro.
Lá vai a dica:
Abra o regedit e vá até o caminho abaixo:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters
Crie uma nova chave do tipo Reg_SZ com nome IsDomainMaster e valor: True
Deve haver uma chave chamada MantainServerList, nesta você deve colocar o valor para Yes.
Pronto! Agora você sempre saberá quem é o seu Master Browser
