Just purchased a 4TB external hard drive (Passport). Hooked it up via USB and my Mac cannot locate it. I’ve rebooted several times and still is unfindable. Open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Try to locate the drive in Disk Utility of your MAC system and format the drive into Mac OS extended journal file system (HFS+).

Hey Logan! Appreciate your reply. That’s where I’ve been trying to locate it. The Passport light is on and when you pick it up you tell its doing something internally but nothing appears to be happening via the monitor. I’ve tried different USB ports and it’s the same result across the board. Do you have any other ideas?
