I have a 4tb drive. It seems to function as specified when connected though my home 5g network. Drive is accessible through the My Cloud iPhone app, mounts as a server on my Mac, and Plex works on these and my Apple TV. Problem is the GUI won’t load on the Mac when it’s on the home network. If I switch to the Passport wifi it works fine. All soft/firm ware up to date on all devices, home wifi is solid, no bandwidth issues. Any thoughts or suggestions?
drive is designed in a way that while the connection of the drive takes place with a computer the and WiFi module gets disable and it will not work and when you connect the drive via the network then you can access the dashboard (GUI) of the drive.
