Mac Book Pro can't find my cloud to set up

Hi,

Recently got a Mac Book Pro, purchased a 3TB My Cloud to back up and connect ipad, iphone. During set up the Mac can’t find the My Cloud. I’ve checked connections, restarted etc. My Iphone and Ipad all can find the My Cloud device. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

How are you trying to access the drive, using the device name, Ip address or using the online setup installer?
