PLEASE HELP! I have done a manuel firmware upgrade on my my book live becuse it was freezing at 90% and this is what the WD webiste recommended I do, now when I go into my folders my movies folder is saying it is a file and only 7.5KB in size It is no longer even able to recognise it as a folder and when I click on it it says “do you want to open this file, type unknown file type.”, I had hundreds of movies saved in this folder is anyone able to tell me how to retrieve them.
Hello, sorry to hear that you cannot access your files. Have you tried doing a power cycle or pressing the reset button on the back for 4 seconds? If the problem continues, you might want to call tech support directly.
