Lost 3 of my 4 wd red 3TB disks

Hi there,

I own a Synology ds421+ with 4 WD red disks. Within 14 days I lost 3 of my four disks.
They are just over 3 years old. This can’t be a coincidence.
I already replaced disk 1 with a new disk but the rebuild failed because disk 3 thought that it should fail too.

Any ideas on how to deal with this?

can you connect that hard drive to a pc ?

run hard disk sentinel and see how hard drive smart is evolving on the failed drives
