Loss access after some time copying multiple files

I have a My Book World and after some time (hours) copying files from another location, I get an NW error and I can´t access the shares or the dashboard and need to turn off My Book and turn on againg.

What do you mean by an “NW error”? What does it specifically say?

Hi Bill,

The device (My Book) is apparently on (lights on and NW Interface led is blinking. But I have no access to the share drives or the http dashboard.
I need to remove the power and restart the device (even the on/off boton is not responding).

When you turn the device off and back on again, do you gain access to your shares?

Yes, but I need a hard restart.

First and foremost, I would make sure to have a backup of the data on the drive. I would then contact support for help to make sure there is nothing wrong with the drive.
