Looking for a web based movie cataloger

There are a good lot of movie cataloger applicatoins avaiblae, but none of the them works in a headless system. It would be very helpful if any of you can suggest a web based cataloger that can be installed in MyCloud, which then can be accessed by the devices connected to it.

I use Simple Movie Catalog on my WD MyBook World Edition and the My Cloud.
  Simple Movie Catalog

Its a perl script and when you run it, the script will create a web page of your movies that is just great. This is a missing feature of all the NAS devices on the market and would be nice to see WD intergrate this into their Web GUI as a new added feature.

That description looks interesting.> Have you tried that application on a PC?

TDmike thanks for the suggestion. Will try your suggestion and let you know the outcome. In fact I have written a Perl script to download sub titles of movies.

I posted a “How to” for the MBWE at

http://http://mybookworld.wikidot.com/forum/t-741486/how-to-install-simple-movie-catalog-for-your-my-book

and it should also work for the MyCloud with a few adjustments based on where your media is and where you would like to have the report can be found.

Let me know how it goes.

PS: When I have some time, I will do a “How to” for the MyCloud if there is interest.

Thanks TDmike, I am a programmer by profession and I use Perl extensievly. So it was prettry easy for me to setup Simple Movie Catalog. I am not that happy with the first run, out of the 120 movies, Simple Movie Catalog could fetch data for 70 of them only. Didnt get time to look into the log it generated.
