The simplest access my drive should be with:
http: //wd mycloudmirror.local/
However I get the message: The user name or password entered is incorrect.
Try entering it again.
I do have access via other means:
https ://files . mycloud.com/home.php?brand=webfiles#2…
(but it has limited functionality, just opening files)
and
file :/// Users/Peter/Desktop/WD%20My%20Cloud%20Mirror.html
(it provides a nice screen, but all not actionalble/clickable)
and
WD My Cloud software on my Mac (I downloaded the recent version, however it reminds me every time to download the latest version)
This software has also limited functionality …
I just want to login as admin, place documents in my wd cloud and share some folders with family members. Why does it appear so complicated. Am I missing something?
I used to be able to login with http://wdmycloudmirror.local/ however now I’m getting lost in all different ways to access and all different passwords. The WD manual does not provide me with an answer.
I now like to post this message and do not have a clue where to find the ‘Post’ button.
