On my TV I can see the Public folders, but I do not want to have my movies available for public, only for allowed users to my cloud.
So how can I make it possible to login to a WD My Cloud account and see the movies listed there on my TV?
Unless your TV supports Samba connectivity, you can’t. And I’ve not seen any TV’s that do…
I think what you’re wanting to do is to move your media to a private share, in which case you’ll need to enable Media Serving on that share.
But keep in mind, there’s still no login with authentication – any DLNA client will be able to view anything you’re sharing.
