I am currently setting up the my cloud ex2 and want to be able to run two accounts from one MAC. I have setup the admin account for the device and my own personal user account, however now I am unable to log out as the admin to WD my cloud desktop app. I want to use my personal account primarily for upload and sharing please help.
Use two different email addresses for the both accounts. Your authentication is bound to Email address(es). If your admin account has the same email address as the normal account, you need to give the second account another email address (Web UI of the My Cloud, Cloud Access)
Ok thanks! I am still not sure how to change the account user on the desktop app. Opening the app automatically logs on as admin. I see this by clicking on the top right corner.
