Locally and remotely mapped drives behave differently?

So accessing from home things work relatively OK, I have all the directories from various networks drives mapped the want I want them.

So I might have one subdirectory on one harddrive e.g. "\MOVIES" mapped as drive M:, for example.

However, when I map remotely, through wd2go.com, the drive letters and tidy organisation is all gone, the remotely mapped drive is given a random drive letter etc.

Is this the way it’s supposed to work ?

Can’t I have my mapped drives show up in a file explorer remotely, with same drive letters etc. just as they do at home ?

Thank you for your help.

Hi SophieH, Windows will assign a random drive letter, but you should be able to sort the files in the same way that you have them on your PC.
