Local access issue

I have my MyCloudEx2 connected to my network and the internet via a router. I have mapped all the “shares” to the relevant user’s laptops but whenever my internet drops out everyone loses the ability to access their mapped drives, as though there is no LAN access. Any advice?

Loses access as in outage? Set the IP to static. My guess is when the network goes down your lan isnt being recognized because its an unknown or Public network. Change your sharing settings to Locate other devices while connected to public network should fix it.
