If all goes as planned, you should be able to watch your regular cable tv channels through your WD in June of 2014. The support for this is via DLNA, which is supposed to be enabled on the settop box provided by your cable tv service provider. This should help alleviate the extra $20 a month you may be getting charged by the cable company for additional HD set top boxes.
