Live Hub Web UI password reset

Hi Everyone, Great Community :wink:

I bought the new WD TV Live Hub and when entering the Live Hub Web UI to do the configurations, the password is not working! of course I tried “admin”, any idea what can be done in this case? and can I reset the password back to admin?

Yes, if you go into the main GUI, and select SETUP / SYSTEM SETTINGS / DEVICE RESET /… one of those options will set the Web Password back.   I can’t remember which off the top of my head…

when I log into the WD discovery it shows the attached image, how do I go to the main GUI?

No, I’m telling you that you go to the Hub’s main GUI via your TV, not your Laptop.

Now regarding connecting the iPad2 do I have to enable it from the TV as well? 'cause I wasnt able to find anytihng related to enabling or adding the iPad2 to the system.

Most things are set up via the TV except for Twonky.

Yes, you add the iPad via the main GUI, under SETUP / MOBILE ACCESS.

I had to update the firmware to get to the mobile access and then i was able to activate the ipad.
