I am a newbie here, just got my Live Hub and want to hook it to my Onkyo TX-NR717 AV receiver.
a. Which terminal on the receiver should I connect the Live Hub to? STB/DVR or PC port?
b. To get the best sound reproduction on my 7.1 surround setup, which cable is better, S/PDIF or HDMI?
HDMI is better than S/PDIF. As to WHICH HDMI port to use on your Onkyo, well, that’s entirely up to you.
Look in your manual to see if ports have differing capabilities.
