I have seen previously a post where someone mentioned that WDTV LIve Plus HD & Linksys (Cisco) WUSB100 V2 work well together but I can not find it anymore. So here is the confirmation for you.
I have tried a number of adapters, and Western Digital well they are no help, because we all must use “Listed Devices” despite the fact that many of them are no longer available via any retail location due to version changes.
Anyway, I have bought 5 adapters, a few Belkin, a couple Netgear, a D-Link, and the Linksys WUSB100 V2.
WUSB100 V2 worked PERFECTLY from the very beginning, even though it is NOT listed on the supported devices page.
I bought one in my local Walmart, since Best Buy did not have them for some reason, but they appear to be available from the Newegg as well, here is a link:

I made this account specifically to confirm this, so others would avoid the headache I went through and close to $500 dollars worth of USB Adapters ■■■■ that I now have to return.
