I have a RO share that contains two Links: One link is named “Manuals” that points to a Share folder to consult all the manuals, drawings, exploded views of a specific equipment. The user can’t modify anything. Which is what I want.
The second link is named “Transfers” that points to a Share folder that would be used to exchange files from and to a customer.
This process is repeated hundreds of time: One RO share for each customer we have that contains those two links. These links are changing from one customer to another, as they don’t necessarily have the same equipments and they are not sharing the same Transfer folder.
The problem is that the USER can’t upload anything to that “Transfer” folder, since the link resides inside a RO share… Am I right? Is there a workaround? Chmod?
