Link Speed = 1000 always?

If I set Link Speed to Auto and then refresh the webpage it returns to 1000?

I am running two Cat6 lines out the back to my router on same sub, but if I set “Auto” shouldn’t it remain displayed at “Auto” rather than 1000?
