$1123.83 to Knoll Ontrack to recover my files from a crapped out WD Book external hard drive.
…and that was after going to a location that WD support gave me that no longer exists!

It is advisable to ensure you always have at a minimum, two copies of your digital data at all times, to avoid potential data loss, by running regular backups. Backing up your data protects you in case of a computer virus, data corruption, hardware issues, or electrical problems.
