Just got a MY Cloud and wondering if I

I just bought a MY Cloud drive and will be installing it today. Can someone direct me to a section on how to connect it to my cable and use it for extra space as a DVR? I currently have RCN.

I think your DVR only supports external drive, eSata? MyCloud is a network drive aka NAS.

Ok thaks, it has been a while since I tinkered with computer stuff. How can I tell?

Take a peep at the DVR rear for any ethernet port, which I doubt  it has. I hope you’re aware that you can only connect external USB HDD to the WDMyCloud’s USB port, in master-mode. Meaning you can’t connect WDMyCloud in slave-mode directly via USB to any device i.e. PC.
