Hi,

I have a WD TV Live Hub, and I was hoping that I could watch movies and tv shows that I have downloaded using itunes. Is there a way that I can convert the format so that I can watch them on my tv? Alternatively is there a safe site that I can download tv shows and movies from other than itunes? I live in Australia.

As per WD website:

File Formats Not Supported:

Does not support protected premium content such as movies or music from the iTunes Store, Movielink, Amazon Unbox, and Vongo.

As you can see, the WD TV Live Hub will not play movies downloaded from iTunes.

Safe download page from Australia? This I really don’t know. You can always stream your files from your computer to your WD TV Live Hub, using 3rd party software.

There are millions on Google, try TVersity or Orb (Both free), there’s also PlayOn but is not free.

I use PS3 Media Server, it is free and easy to use

And no, it does not require a PS3 to work.
