I’ve updated my WD mirror drive with the latest firmware update and since then it appears iTunes doesn’t like it.

I can see my drive in iTunes and when selected it shows music. However, when i go to preferences, advanced, change, I can see my ‘iTunes’ folder on my WD drive, but when i select it, it just hangs.

Also on my WD drive, I appear to have some songs in ‘Itunes’ and some in ‘shared music’, both folders are on my WD drive and both contain different music! I’ve tried copying etc, but i’ve now lost the world to life

What have you tried so far?
Does the same happens on a different computer?

I only have my mac at home. It’s been working for years and now it’s stopped. Yet both are working correctly. I can also access the drive from my phone
