Issue with playing wmv9 files encoded by windows 7 media center

I have an issue with playing files from windows 7 media center.

the files can play, but fwd / rev is terrible, making it useless.

when you press fwd, it will start fwd and then hang.

I have tried with network share and with media share. same issue.

I want to use my PC to record from TV and then use WD TV Live to view them at a later time.

anyone has this issue ?

Any luck with this issue?  I have been searching all afternoon here and have not found a real answer to one simple question:  Can I watch TV shows that were recorded with Windows 7 Media Center via the WDTV Live?
