Issue with 3.0 port windows 7

Hi all,

I am having an issue with my WD drive, which is usb3.0 compatible.

Im running windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit.

Im copying a 700 mb avi file. The file copies fine when using a usb 2.0 port on my computer. I do notice it flies up to around 95 percent and stops for a few seconds and then completes.

When I plug into my usb 3.0 port, the drive is recognised fine and I can browse the contents. However when I copy the same avi file, the file transfers even quicker. Again it stops at around 95 percent but it never comes out of this. The only way I can get out is to force windows to reboot and when I come back in the file is never there. Same issue with any big files. Seems ok for smaller files(less then 10mb).

Been trying to fix this for ages but cant find a solution, can anyone help?

Hello, check the USB 3.0 drivers, you might have old ones.
